Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

This website (customa2dp.com) is operated by A2DP-Lab, an independent individual developer ("we", "us"). It is a non-commercial project that distributes a free Bluetooth A2DP driver for Windows called Custom A2DP. For any privacy question, contact us at support [at] customa2dp [dot] com.

2. What we collect and why

We collect as little as possible. There is no registration, account, login or newsletter on the site.

  • The driver and the installer make no network requests and send no telemetry. The only data leaving your computer is the audio itself, over Bluetooth.
  • Web server logs. The hosting provider may record standard technical data (IP address, date and time, requested URL, browser/user-agent) to keep the site running and to protect it from abuse. This processing is based on the legitimate interest of operating a secure website.
  • Download counter. When you click the actual download link, an anonymous counter is incremented. It stores only a total number of downloads — it does not identify you and does not use cookies.
  • Analytics (Yandex.Metrica). We use Yandex.Metrica to understand how the site is used (traffic, popular sections, technical errors). Metrica uses cookies and may collect your IP address, device and browser data, and a visitor identifier. Data is processed by Yandex under its own terms and privacy policy.
  • Feedback form. If you contact us through the form or by email, we receive the data you send (name, email address and message). It is used only to answer you.
  • Donations. If you choose to support the project, the payment is processed by a third-party payment service (Trybit). We receive only the fact and the amount of the donation — not your card details or private wallet keys. Their processing is governed by their own privacy policy.

3. Cookies

The site itself does not set advertising cookies. Cookies may be set by Yandex.Metrica for statistics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings — the download and all documentation remain available.

4. Sharing

We do not sell or rent your data. We do not share it with third parties except:

  • the hosting provider (server logs and file delivery);
  • Yandex (analytics), as described above;
  • the payment service provider (Trybit) — only when you make a donation;
  • where required by applicable law.

5. Retention

Server logs are kept by the host for a limited period set by the host. Analytics data is retained by Yandex under its policy. Correspondence is kept for as long as needed to resolve your request.

6. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, email us.

7. Children

The site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. The current version is always published on this page with the date of the last revision.
