Terms of Use and Offer
1. General
These Terms govern the use of the website customa2dp.com and the free software Custom A2DP (the "Software") offered on it. By downloading, installing or using the Software, or by using the website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Software or the website.
2. Subject
We grant you a free, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Software for personal or internal business purposes, for as long as you comply with these Terms. The Software is distributed free of charge. No purchase is required for any feature.
3. "As is" and the test-signing certificate
The Software is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Important: the driver is currently signed with a test certificate, so Windows requires test-signing mode; this is clearly stated on the website and by the installer. You install and use the Software at your own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damage, data loss, loss of profit or other losses arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Software.
4. Your responsibilities
- You must be an administrator of the computer where the Software is installed.
- You are responsible for creating a system restore point or a backup before installing.
- You must comply with all applicable laws and with the licences of Microsoft and of your hardware vendor.
- You may not use the Software for any unlawful purpose or to infringe the rights of others.
5. Donations
The project is free. You may optionally support it with a donation. A donation is a voluntary, gratuitous transfer of money as a sign of gratitude and support of the project. It is not a purchase: a donation gives you no right to support, updates, additional features or priority, and creates no obligation on our side to deliver any particular result. Donations are non-refundable (see the Payment and Refund Policy). Payments are processed by a third-party payment service (Trybit) under its own terms. We may direct donations to project expenses — the code-signing certificate, testing hardware, build machines — and to the partial support of the project assistant.
6. Third parties and trademarks
The Software is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Microsoft or Soundcore. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the total liability of the operator is limited to the amount you actually paid to us — for donations, the amount of the donation — or to zero if you use the Software free of charge.
8. Changes
We may amend these Terms. The current version is published on this page with the date of the last revision. Continuing to use the site or the Software after a change means you accept the new version.
